- How to take advantage of this natural resource to win LEED points under the green Building design projects.
- A discussion of the importance of using natural treatment processes to enhance the water quality and reduce our demand for high quality drinking water which is becoming more costly due to stringent safe drinking water regulations. This approach saves money while preventing pollution and controlling the increased demand for high quality drinking water
Speaker Biography:
Ram Shrivastava is a NYS Licensed Professional Engineer and Certified LEED Professional. He is president and CEO of Larsen Engineers, established in 1955.
Ram has over 36 Years of environmental engineering experience in serving local Municipalities, State Agencies, Public Institutions and Private companies. He is active in promoting the Green Buildings programs to save money, conserve natural resources and produce renewable energy.
Some of the green design projects undertaken by Larsen Engineers involve stormwater recycle and reuse at Industrial plant for fire protection, domestic waste water treatment with natural wetlands, production of biogas fuel from high strength wastewater, deconstruction and demolition with waste recycle and reuse.
